Orion Amps

i have 3 orion amps they turn on but no sound? i have 3 orion amps! 2 of them are the xtr250 amps they both turn on but when i connect them to a sub no sound! its so weird i also have the 2250sx digital reference amp and this amp turns on but no sound! somethings wrong i dont really know why its doing that maybe someone can help me!

I have two 15 inch P-series orion subs what amps are the best for them? each sub is 1000 max 500 rms. I dont mind cross branding (different brands subs to amp) at all but if I were to get orion amps are they any good? Which Orion amp (or other brand) should I get? I live in FL so you really dont see Orions that much. All and any serious advice is appreciated!!!!!

Whats a better amp massive p3000.1 or orion Hcca-d5000 i can get them for the same price thanks? I am using the hcca 15.2 2 of them and I can get the amps for the same price the massive has more copper per square inch than the massive but the massive is huge and i have heard good tings about them please help both amps are cea-2006 and the massive is 2 ohm whereas the hcca is 1 ohm stable thanks guys really wrecking my brain sorry the orion has more copper i meant not the massive

Alpine type R`s or Orion hp`s??????????????????? Im gonna run my orion hcca d500 amp to three subs Should 3 hp12.2s be able to handle the amp or should i go with 3 12.2 alpine type r`s. Im gonna run it at 1.34 ohms Orion Hp 12.2 - 500 rms 1000 peak Alpine type R 12.2 - 500 rms 1500peak I dont want to blow my subs if there gonna be getting about 830 watts a piece. The amp buts out 2500 rms at one ohm so Im roughly close if its gonna be at 1.34 ohms and orion underates there amps thanks alot guys I rather be on the safe side with the alpines i dont want to be parnoid thinking the hp`s are gonna blow haha

Old amps vs. new amps? I can just remember the sound of old amps (Pre 1995 or so) like orion, hifonics, soundstream, and Rockford Fosgate. Made in the US amps. All were underrated and sometimes kick the butt of modern stuff that is higher wattage. They were built to last with thick metal. But does there sound quality still stand up over time? And can they compete with a modern higher end made in China amp for sound quality?

running a capacitor for my amps? I'm about to buy a MB Quartz 4000 watt amp to power a 12" Orion HCCA and I already have an 800 watt Kenwood amp running to my components. I know I'll need a capacitor but should I run both of the amps off it or just the MB Quartz amp for my sub??

Are there any car stereo amps made in the USA anymore? Or should I go mid 90's old school? Im looking to beef up the ride with some sounds. I was a teenager in the mid 90's, and back then we had PPI, Phoenix Gold, Orion, Lanzar, Audio Art, Audiobahn...all serious quality amps putting down the juice. Now I look around, everything is made in China or Korea or something, and 1/2 the companies out today I dont recognize. The other 1/2 are surviving companies but they dont have the hand built quality of 10 years ago. Surprise surprise with outsourcing and all that. Anyway, are there good amps made today? Or should I just get the Orion HCCA competition amp off ebay and slam 4 15's with it making peoples jaws drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrop?

Will 1000 watts push an Orion h2 12.2 ok???? I got a really good deal on some Orion h2 12.2 subs and I want to use my current amps to power them. I currently own 2- rockford fosgate 25 to life punch 150's that according to the birth sheets put out about 950 watts a piece. What's the best box for one Orion HCCA-12.2 Subwoofer? My husband has an obsession with sound systems. We had several different set ups and he sold the first one. Then he sold one of his favorite "set ups" at my request. He has several amps but the only one big enough to push the Orion is a 2500 watt Kicker Amp. I understand he's going to need a bigger amp for the Orion to function at full capacity but that will soon follow. Upgrading my amp? From Hifonics BXI2608 to Orion HCCA D5000? Will there be a huge difference between these 2 amps? The hifonics i have now is rated at 2600 w rms @ 1 ohm, The Orion is rated at 2500 w rms @ 1 ohm. I am going to be getting a 200 amp High output alternator very soon, but is it worth the upgrade? Old School HiFonics Amps ? ALL OPINIONS ARE WELCOME: I've always been an Orion fan(old school, prior to DEI buyout)... I'm an HCCA Fanatic !!! But a friend of mines was/is an old school HiFonics fan; so not long ago I decided to step over to the "dark side" and try one out, just a try out. I've yet to install them;mainly because I wanted some opinions on their performance First... ALL INPUT IS WELCOME. I want as much input as possible because I can't find any info on these amps: HiFonics Taurus X (4x50, 1ohm stable) AND HiFonics Centurion X (2x100, 1ohm stable) Both are from the "American Warrior Series" I've Googled till my eyes hurt... seriously my eyes were hurting and I can only find small scraps of info. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any "war-stories"? Anyone has or had any friends using these? Know any "specs"? I just want to get all of the info and opinions that I can. Then if the comments are positive, I may move forward with an install... if negative, I guess I'll add them to my amp collection AND HIDE THEM UNDER MY ORIONS
